Principal in Adolphe Adam's Le Corsaire, the principal in Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker, Louise in Carousel, the principal in Ballanchine’s Baiser de la Fee and Divertimento 15, Demi Soloist in Symphony in C, the French Girl in Mark Diamond’s American in Paris, Sir Frederick Ashton’s Monotones I, the Pas de deux from Bourneville’s Flower Festival, Principal in Raymonda, and the Diamond pas de deux in Sleeping Beauty. With the Joffrey Ballet, Abigail has performed roles in Arpino’s Kettentanz, Mobiles, Lilac Garden, Green Table, Ashton’s Cinderella, and Twyla Tharp’s Water Baby Bagatelle. She has danced new choreography by Wayne McGregor, Christopher Wheeldon, Yuri Possokhv, Sean Curran, Stephen Mills, Jessica Lang, Benjamin Millepied and Brian Reeder. Abigail also appeared on Broadway as a guest soloist in The Phantom of the Opera. In August 2017, Abigail performed Christopher Wheeldon's After the Rain pas with Matthew Golding as a principal guest artist at the Gala Internacional de Ballet in Santiago, Chile.

ABIGAIL SIMON
Recently, ABIGAIL SIMON returned to the Lyric Opera of Chicago to dance with Rob Ashford’s production of Carmen after performing there previously as Louise in Ashford’s Carousel. Abigail later reprised the role with the Houston Grand Opera. She appeared with the Lyric Opera as a principal dancer in Capriccio with Renee Flemming. In recent years, she has performed throughout America in more than 30 Nutcracker productions as the Sugar Plum Fairy. Other recent roles include Juliet in Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet (Vienna). She trained at The School of American Ballet and performed with American Ballet Theatre prior to dancing for ten years with Chicago’s Joffrey Ballet (principal roles in The Merry Widow, Tarantella, Night, Kettentanz, Reflections, and many other featured roles). Simon has worked with such renowned choreographers as Wayne McGregor, Christopher Wheeldon, and Benjamin Millepied.
In 2014, Abigail signed as an Ambassador/Capezio artist and now routinely models internationally, and is recognized as an international manager, guest speaker, and teacher/ballet coach. Abigail recently performed Christopher Wheeldon’s After the Rain and Romeo and Juliet Balcony Scene at the Gala Internacional de Ballet as a principal guest artist. In the summer of 2017, Abigail partnered with Ray Thompson to form Simon and Thompson Entertainment. Clients include dancers from New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, The Royal Ballet of London, and Broadway’s An American in Paris.
